At Lower, we believe homeownership is the greatest wealth creator in America today. We want to make homeownership accessible to everyone, all of our editorial content aims to accomplish that goal. Accuracy and human expertise are at the heart of all of our editorial content.

Our Editorial Process

Our editorial process centers around three main pillars: Research, Writing, and Expert Review.

  1. Research: Our articles are based on real customer queries and feedback. We work in close collaboration with our expert loan officers to ideate and create content that aligns with homebuyer needs. We only cite reputable sources and in-house experts in our articles. That includes government agencies, professional associations, independent and nonprofit research firms, and real human experts.

  2. Writing: Our in-house analysts and contributing writers condense their research into plain language, accessible pieces that are then edited for accuracy and clarity.

  3. Review: Every article we produce is fact-checked by one of our in-house experts. You can click through their byline on an article to learn more about their background and experience.
